'J'accuse!' Kim Dotcom vs the Kiwi PM

The sensational allegation comes less than a week before the Kiwi election, in which Dotcom's Internet Party is standing candidates. Dotcom says it is contained in emails which also show that the New Zealand Government was systematically spying on its citizenry in a mass surveillance operation.

Kiwi PM orders Kim Dotcom inquiry

New Zealand Prime Minister John Key has asked for an inquiry by the Inspector-General of Intelligence and Security into the unlawful interception of communications of “certain individuals” by the Government Communications Security Bureau (GCSB).

NZ broadband plans eclipsed by Bledisloe barbs

In a speech long on Bledisloe Cup barbs, but short on specifics, the New Zealand prime minister John Key wasn’t giving much away about New Zealand’s future internet intentions during a major speech in Sydney today, except to acknowledge that “the internet changes everything.”
